Cleveland Clinic to Close Child "Gender" Program and
Open Detransitioner Clinic
In another huge win for sanity and child protection, the U.S. Department of Justice along with the Ohio Attorney General's office announced that Cleveland Clinic will close its current program offering transgender treatment to minors. The agreement includes "a decades-long commitment to not perform or offer sex-rejecting procedures—which includes the administration of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones—for minors."
This announcement comes after recent news that Texas Children's Hospital will close its harmful child "gender" clinic.
Both result from settlements with DOJ after being caught fraudulently billing public and private insurance for these treatments on children.
But the good news doesn't end there. Like the Texas settlement, Cleveland Clinic will open a program to help minors heal from unnecessary surgeries, puberty blockers and opposite sex hormones.
This treatment will be available at no cost.
